Jaguars request permission to interview Giants' Brandon Brown for GM opening - chof 360 news

Giants assistant GM Brandon Brown continues drawing interest from teams.

The Jaguars are the latest to request permission to interview Brown for their GM opening, according to numerous reports.

Jacksonville is looking to replace Trent Baalke, who they fired late last month.

Brown is certainly a very intriguing candidate, as he just completed his third season serving as GM Joe Schoen's right-hand man, and he's long been viewed as one of the up-and-coming stars in the industry.

The 36-year-old began his NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts as an advanced scout and scouting assistant before spending five seasons with the divisional rival Eagles, including stints as their director of pro scouting and the director of player personnel.

This is his second interview this cycle, the first of which came a few weeks ago for the Raiders' opening.

He also received interest from the Panthers and Chargers for their openings last season.
